Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy describes conduct and uses that are prohibited when accessing Interzoid's websites, accounts, APIs, applications, data quality tools, data matching services, enrichment services, integrations, trial keys, documentation, and related services.

1. Purpose and Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all users of Interzoid Inc. ("Interzoid," "we," "our," or "us") services, including account holders, trial users, free users, paid subscribers, developers, integration users, marketplace users, and any person or entity accessing the Services through an API key, application, integration, connector, or third-party platform.

Capitalized terms used in this AUP and not defined here have the meanings given to them in the Interzoid Terms of Use. "Services," "Customer Data," "Service Outputs," "Enrichment Data," and "Interzoid Technology" have the meanings given in the Terms of Use. Enrichment Data is information returned by the Services that is derived from third-party data sources, licensed data, public data, artificial intelligence systems, machine learning systems, external APIs, or Interzoid Technology rather than from the data you submitted, including official and standardized names, corrected or formatted values, appended attributes, classifications, and scores.

2. Relationship to Other Agreements

This AUP is incorporated into and forms part of the Interzoid Terms of Use. It supplements, and does not replace, the restrictions in the Terms of Use, the Terms of Purchase, the Privacy Policy, and any other written agreement between you and Interzoid. If there is a conflict between this AUP and the Terms of Use with respect to prohibited conduct, the more restrictive provision applies.

Violation of this AUP is a violation of the Terms of Use and may result in suspension or termination of access to the Services as described in the Terms of Use and in Section 12 of this AUP.

3. Responsibility for Your Users and End Users

You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account, API keys, credentials, applications, and integrations, whether performed by you, your employees, your contractors, your agents, your customers, or your end users.

If you make the Services or Service Outputs available to your own users or customers, whether through an application, integration, workflow, or embedded functionality, you are responsible for ensuring that those users comply with this AUP. You must impose terms on your users that are at least as protective as this AUP, and you must enforce those terms.

4. General Prohibited Uses

You may not, and may not permit or enable any third party to, use the Services:

• For any unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, harmful, infringing, or unauthorized purpose;
• In violation of privacy, data protection, consumer protection, intellectual property, export control, sanctions, anti-spam, anti-discrimination, telemarketing, or other applicable laws or regulations;
• To process data that you do not have all rights, permissions, consents, and legal bases necessary to submit to the Services and to have Interzoid process;
• To infringe, misappropriate, or violate the intellectual property, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights of any person or entity;
• To engage in, promote, or facilitate hate speech, harassment, threats, incitement to violence, exploitation, or other harmful conduct;
• For high-risk activities where failure or inaccuracy of the Services could lead to death, personal injury, property damage, environmental damage, or other critical harm;
• To misrepresent your identity, your affiliation with any person or entity, or the origin of data you submit to the Services.

5. Prohibited Uses Involving Individuals and Personal Information

Interzoid's data matching, similarity key, standardization, validation, and enrichment services may be applied to information about individuals, and Enrichment Data returned by the Services may describe individuals or the organizations they are associated with. The following uses are prohibited regardless of whether they would otherwise be lawful in your jurisdiction. You may not use the Services, Service Outputs, or Enrichment Data to:

• Conduct unlawful surveillance, monitoring, tracking, stalking, harassment, intimidation, or doxxing of any individual;
• Locate, identify, or expose an individual in a manner intended to threaten, endanger, harm, defraud, extort, or intimidate that individual;
• Re-identify, or attempt to re-identify, individuals from data that has been anonymized, de-identified, aggregated, pseudonymized, or otherwise processed to prevent identification;
• Circumvent, defeat, or undermine an individual's exercise of privacy rights, including opt-out requests, do-not-contact requests, do-not-sell or do-not-share requests, suppression lists, deletion requests, or consent withdrawals;
• Reconstruct, augment, or restore records that a person or entity was legally required to delete, suppress, or refrain from processing;
• Assemble or enhance profiles of individuals for sale, distribution, or publication as a standalone data product, people-search service, or consumer database, including by accumulating Enrichment Data across requests to construct such a product;
• Target, exclude, profile, or discriminate against individuals or groups on the basis of race, color, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, veteran status, genetic information, or other characteristics protected by applicable law.

6. Consumer Reporting and Eligibility Decisions

Interzoid is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the United States Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. Section 1681 et seq. ("FCRA"), or by any analogous state or foreign law. The Services are not designed, tested, or offered for use in preparing consumer reports, investigative consumer reports, or consumer credit files, and Service Outputs, including Enrichment Data, are not consumer reports.

You may not use the Services, Service Outputs, or Enrichment Data, in whole or in part, as a factor in establishing an individual's eligibility for, or in making decisions regarding:

• Credit, lending, financing, or insurance underwriting or pricing;
• Employment, promotion, reassignment, retention, contracting, or volunteer screening;
• Housing, tenancy, or residential leasing;
• Education admissions, financial aid, or scholarships;
• Government benefits, licensing, immigration status, or entitlements;
• Healthcare eligibility, coverage, treatment, or clinical decision-making;
• Any other purpose that would cause Interzoid to be considered a consumer reporting agency or that would cause Service Outputs to be considered a consumer report under the FCRA or any analogous law.

You are responsible for determining whether your intended use is subject to the FCRA or similar laws, and for obtaining any data, services, and compliance controls appropriate for that use from a provider that offers them.

7. Prohibited and Restricted Data

The Services are designed for business data quality, matching, standardization, validation, and enrichment workflows. Unless Interzoid has expressly agreed in writing that a specific Service is designed and configured to process a particular category of data, you may not submit to the Services:

• Protected health information, patient records, or other information subject to the United States Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act ("HIPAA") or comparable health privacy laws;
• Cardholder data, primary account numbers, card verification values, or other information subject to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard ("PCI DSS");
• Government identification numbers, including Social Security numbers, national identification numbers, passport numbers, driver's license numbers, or taxpayer identification numbers;
• Financial account numbers, bank account credentials, or payment credentials;
• Biometric identifiers or biometric information, including facial geometry, fingerprints, voiceprints, and retina or iris scans;
• Personal information of children, or information subject to the United States Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") or comparable laws protecting minors;
• Information relating to an individual's health, genetic characteristics, sex life, sexual orientation, religious or philosophical beliefs, political opinions, trade union membership, or criminal history;
• Classified, export-controlled, or otherwise restricted government information;
• Passwords, API keys, private keys, authentication secrets, or other credentials belonging to you or any third party;
• Any other information that carries heightened legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations that Interzoid has not agreed in writing to assume.

Enrichment Data returned by the Services is not verified against any individual and is not represented as an authoritative record about any person or organization. You are responsible for reviewing, filtering, masking, redacting, or excluding restricted data before submitting Customer Data to the Services. If you become aware that restricted data has been submitted, you must notify Interzoid promptly at support@interzoid.com.

8. Technical and Security Restrictions

You may not, and may not permit or enable any third party to:

• Interfere with, disrupt, overload, degrade, probe, scan, or test the integrity, security, or performance of the Services or the infrastructure on which they run;
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent authentication, authorization, rate limits, credit limits, quotas, usage metering, access controls, or monitoring;
• Conduct penetration testing, vulnerability scanning, denial of service testing, or security research against the Services without Interzoid's prior written authorization;
• Share, publish, resell, transfer, or expose API keys, license keys, tokens, or account credentials, including by embedding them in public repositories, client-side code, mobile applications, or distributed software;
• Create multiple or automated accounts, or use false information, to obtain additional trial keys, free credits, or evaluation access, or to evade usage limits, expiration, suspension, or termination;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code, algorithms, models, matching logic, scoring logic, or similarity key generation methods of the Services;
• Use the Services to develop, train, benchmark, evaluate, or improve a competing product, service, model, or dataset without Interzoid's prior written permission;
• Scrape, harvest, crawl, mirror, or bulk extract data from the Services except through authorized API calls and documented product functionality;
• Resell, sublicense, lease, redistribute, or otherwise provide the Services, Service Outputs, or Enrichment Data as a standalone data product, API, database, feed, or competing service;
• Upload, transmit, or introduce malware, ransomware, viruses, worms, harmful code, or content designed to disrupt, damage, or gain unauthorized access to any system;
• Use the Services to gain, or attempt to gain, unauthorized access to any account, system, network, database, or data belonging to Interzoid or any third party.

9. Communications and Anti-Spam

Interzoid Services may be used to improve the quality, consistency, and deduplication of contact and organization records. They may not be used to build, expand, verify, or maintain distribution lists for unlawful communications. You may not use the Services, Service Outputs, or Enrichment Data to:

• Send, enable, or support unsolicited bulk or commercial email, text messages, faxes, or telephone calls in violation of the CAN-SPAM Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, applicable do-not-call registries, or comparable laws in any jurisdiction;
• Validate, correct, append, or otherwise improve contact records for the purpose of delivering communications to individuals who have opted out, unsubscribed, revoked consent, or registered on a suppression or do-not-contact list;
• Support phishing, smishing, vishing, impersonation, social engineering, pretexting, or other deceptive communications;
• Evade spam filters, sender reputation systems, message authentication, or other communications security controls.

10. Databases, Integrations, and Third-Party Environments

Certain Interzoid Services connect directly to databases, data warehouses, cloud platforms, marketplaces, and other third-party environments that you configure, including platforms such as Supabase, Snowflake, PostgreSQL databases, and other systems you designate.

When using these capabilities, you represent and agree that:

• You are authorized to access, read, and process the data in every database, schema, table, account, and environment you connect to the Services;
• You have obtained any consents, approvals, and internal authorizations required by the owner or controller of that data;
• You are responsible for configuring credentials, roles, permissions, network access, and security controls in your own environments, and for using the least level of access necessary;
• You will not use the Services to access, copy, process, or exfiltrate data from any system you are not authorized to access;
• You will comply with the terms, acceptable use policies, and security requirements of any third-party platform you connect to the Services.

Interzoid does not verify your authority to access any database or environment you connect to the Services, and does not control third-party platforms. Nothing in this AUP grants you any right to use the trademarks, brands, or names of third-party platforms.

11. Reporting Abuse

If you believe that any person is using the Services in violation of this AUP, or that Service Outputs are being used to harm you or another person, please report it to Interzoid at abuse@interzoid.com.

To help us investigate, please include as much detail as you can, such as a description of the conduct, the dates and times involved, any account, domain, or API key information you are aware of, copies or screenshots of relevant material, and how we can contact you. Interzoid reviews reports received at this address and will take the action it considers appropriate, which may include requesting further information, contacting the account holder, limiting or suspending access, terminating an account, or referring the matter to law enforcement.

Privacy requests, including requests to access, correct, or delete personal information, should be sent to support@interzoid.com as described in the Interzoid Privacy Policy. Legal notices should be sent to legal@interzoid.com as described in the Terms of Use.

12. Investigation and Enforcement

Interzoid may investigate suspected violations of this AUP. Investigation may include reviewing usage records, request metadata, logs, account information, security information, and other information available to Interzoid, and contacting you or other parties for information. Interzoid's monitoring rights are described further in the Terms of Use.

If Interzoid reasonably believes that a violation of this AUP has occurred or is likely to occur, Interzoid may take any action it considers appropriate, including:

• Requesting information or corrective action from you;
• Removing, disabling, blocking, or restricting access to specific functionality, endpoints, integrations, or data;
• Applying, reducing, or enforcing rate limits, credit limits, or usage limits;
• Suspending or terminating API keys, credentials, accounts, trials, or subscriptions, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation and the risk involved;
• Reporting conduct to law enforcement, regulators, or affected third parties, and cooperating with lawful investigations and legal process.

Interzoid may act without prior notice where it believes that doing so is necessary to prevent harm, protect the security or integrity of the Services, protect other users, comply with law, or preserve evidence. Interzoid is not obligated to monitor use of the Services, and any decision not to act in a particular case does not waive Interzoid's right to act in any other case. Suspension or termination under this AUP does not entitle you to any refund, credit, or compensation, and does not limit any other rights or remedies available to Interzoid.

13. Changes to This Policy

Interzoid may update this AUP from time to time to address new products, new integrations, new risks, or changes in law. The updated AUP will be posted on the Interzoid website with an updated date. Material changes will become effective no earlier than thirty (30) days after posting unless a shorter period is required by law or is necessary for security, legal, or operational reasons. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated AUP.
